Selendy Gay partners Jordan Goldstein and David Coon received a shout out in this week’s “Litigator of the Week” column from AmLaw’s Litigation Daily.
The shout out applauded their recent victory on behalf of a putative class of investors who traded on Binance, one of the world’s largest crypto-asset exchanges. A Second Circuit panel unanimously reversed the district court’s decision granting Binance’s motion to dismiss in Lee v. Binance. Selendy Gay initially filed the class action against Binance, which allegedly offered and sold billions of dollars of unregistered digital tokens to investors in violation of federal and state securities laws, in the Southern District of New York in the spring of 2020.
