Temidayo was recognized for his work in the firm’s Corporate Defense and Investigations practice, as well as his strong government credentials. As defense counsel, he helps Fortune 500 companies fend off criminal and regulatory actions that threaten the viability of their businesses or business lines, and he counsels boards and special committees on governance and compliance matters. He also investigates white collar cases and leads congressional, governmental, corporate, board and audit committee investigations.
Crain’s also highlighted Temidayo’s active public interest practice, where he has a strong focus on pro-democracy efforts. He has authored numerous amicus briefs, including a brief before the U.S. Supreme Court in Trump v. United States, which argued against immunity from criminal prosecution for former President Donald Trump. He has spoken on these topics at numerous institutions, including Columbia University, Furman University, and the National Press Club, the world's leading professional organization for journalists.
Temidayo is also a frequent on-air contributor to CNN and MSNBC on legal developments concerning matters of national importance, including investigations into former President Trump and notable cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to joining Selendy Gay, Temidayo served as Senior Investigative Counsel for the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol.
