The National Law Journal has named Founding Partner Jennifer Selendy as a “Plaintiff Attorney of the Year Finalist” in its 2025 Elite Trial Lawyers program. These awards highlight the attorneys who have taken cutting-edge approaches to the nation’s top litigation and appellate work over the past year.
Jennifer was chosen for co-leading a Selendy Gay team to the firm’s largest victory to date – a $1.1 billion trial victory on behalf of plaintiff Fortis Advisors, as representative of the former shareholders of Auris Health, in a merger dispute with Johnson & Johnson in the Delaware Court of Chancery. The significant 145-page decision found the former shareholders entitled to the largest earnout-related damages award in Delaware history.
Jennifer continues to represent plaintiffs in matters exceeding $1 billion in damages, including Albertsons in a $6 billion merger dispute against Kroger, as well as the Litigation Oversight Committee of Genesis Global Holdco, LLC, in anticipation of post-bankruptcy claims exceeding $1 billion against the Genesis parent entity, Digital Currency Group, and other entities.
A seasoned trial and appellate litigator, Jennifer is widely acclaimed for representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes. She was named one of “America’s Top 200 Lawyers” by Forbes in 2024; “2023 Litigator of the Year” by International Financial Law Review; and one of 2022’s “Elite Women of the Plaintiffs Bar” by The National Law Journal.
