Selendy Gay and Kelley Cornish Honored in New York Law Journal's 2026 Legal Awards

Kelley Cornish has been named a Distinguished Leader as part of the New York Law Journal's 2026 New York Legal Awards. The honor recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made meaningful contributions to the legal profession.

In addition, Selendy Gay has been shortlisted for Litigation Department of the Year: General Litigation. The recognition highlights the firm's work on some of the most significant commercial disputes in the country and follows a year of notable results for clients across a broad range of industries and matters.

Among other achievements, the firm secured a final $811 million judgment on behalf of the former shareholders of Auris Health in an earnout dispute with Johnson & Johnson—the largest earnout-related damages award in Delaware history—and continues to represent Albertsons Companies in its more than $6 billion litigation against Kroger arising from the collapse of the companies' proposed merger. The firm also secured a favorable settlement for minority lenders Siemens Financial Services and Axos Financial in closely watched litigation involving STG Logistics and an emerging liability management transaction.
