Partner David Flugman will join a group of UK and Cayman Islands panelists to discuss the tools available to insolvency practitioners in gathering information and documentation in cross-border insolvencies.
Flugman routinely represents clients in complex insolvency disputes before federal and state courts and arbitral panels across the United States. He has particular experience counseling liquidators and other parties on cross-border insolvency matters, including the Joint Official Liquidators of Herald Fund SPC. Among other cases, he currently represents global consulting firm McKinsey & Company against Jay Alix, the founder of AlixPartners, in what has been called the largest bankruptcy code dispute of the decade.
