Temidayo Aganga-Williams Speaks on the WAOK Morning Show

Temidayo Aganga-Williams was a featured guest on the WAOK Morning Show, an Atlanta news show, to discuss his work on the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

During this interview, Temidayo recounted some of the most significant evidence the Committee uncovered during the investigation, which they used to prove that Donald Trump intentionally disrupted the peaceful transfer of power. He also emphasized that the public nature of this investigation, through televised hearings, allowed greater transparency for the American public and the unique opportunity to assess evidence before the court proceedings began.

Temidayo further highlighted the unity of the Committee, which was dedicated to delivering a clear and cohesive narrative to the public and defending democratic principles. “The Committee had people who all believed in the mission and got to act with one voice. When you watched it on TV, there was no disagreement, no dissent, and no objections. The Committee operated in complete unison, which was what made our work come out so strong,” he stated.

Before serving as Senior Investigative Counsel for the Committee, Temidayo was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
