Ya Marie Cham is Selendy Gay's Director of Risk Management. In her role, she supports the General Counsel’s Office on a range of conflicts and compliance matters relating to business acceptance as well as other issues such as contracting, commercial risks, client engagement terms, local ethical and regulatory issues and firm policies and practices. Additionally, she oversees the Firm’s professionals responsible for the clearance of new matters, firm-growth and hiring of new attorney and staff candidates.
Ya Marie has over fifteen years of experience in law firm risk management (including conflicts and client engagement management). Prior to joining the Firm, she worked at Dentons for over a decade.
Ya Marie graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University and obtained her juris doctorate from Washington & Lee University School of Law. She is admitted in New York and New Jersey.
