Selendy Gay Partners Recognized by Benchmark Litigation

Selendy Gay’s partners have been recognized across the board by Benchmark Litigation. The firm’s attorneys were named to several of the publication’s lists, and as a firm, Selendy Gay was ranked a recommended firm for dispute resolution.

Two partners, Lena Konanova and Oscar Shine, were named to Benchmark’s 40 & Under list, which recognizes of the nation’s most notable up-and-coming litigation attorneys. Konanova has now been awarded this distinction two years in a row, and 2022 marks Shine’s debut on the list.

Konanova is notable for her recent work representing the American Federation of Teachers in claims against the US Department of Education, and Shine for his successful history of representing plaintiffs in cryptocurrency disputes.

Joshua Margolin was named a Future Star. Margolin is a seasoned litigator with experience in a wide array of white-collar, complex commercial and financial disputes.

Named to the list of Local Litigation Stars was founding partner Jennifer Selendy, who was recognized for her complex defense work in trial and appellate cases.

Benchmark Litigation named Faith Gay and Caitlin Halligan to their list of the Top 250 Women in Litigation in the United States. Gay and Halligan have made the list annually since 2017 and 2019, respectively. Gay and Halligan were also both named on Benchmark’s Local Litigation Stars and National Practice Area Stars lists.

Faith Gay is recognized for her extensive experience, including serving as lead counsel in more than 35 jury trials and successfully navigating investigations for scores of Fortune 500 Companies and high profile clients. Caitlin Halligan is a leading appellate attorney, who has argued several cases in the US Supreme Court and formerly served as solicitor general for the State of New York.

Finally, Philippe Selendy was once again named to Benchmark’s list of Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America. Selendy is often applauded for his remarkable record of success, especially in securities litigation, where he has recovered more than $35 billion for clients in the last decade alone. The publication also included Selendy on their lists of Local Litigation Stars and National Practice Area Stars.
