Selendy Gay Elsberg’s partners have been recognized by Benchmark Litigation across several ranking guides.
David Elsberg, Faith Gay, Maria Ginzburg, Jordan Goldstein, Jennifer Selendy, and Philippe Selendy were named to the list of Litigation Stars in their respective fields. Philippe Selendy was also named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and Joshua Margolin was listed as a Future Star.
Managing partner Maria Ginzburg and partner Jordan Goldstein made their debut on the Litigation Star 2024 Guide, each for their impressive work in complex, high-stakes disputes. Ginzburg is commended for her recent work representing the Trustee for the Commonwealth Avoidance Actions Trust in its suit against 13 major banks for their role in deepening Puerto Rico’s debt crisis. Goldstein has gained recognition for litigating some of the nation’s most high-profile crypto-asset cases, and his specialty in complex financial products.
Once again named to the list of Litigation Stars were founding partners David Elsberg, Faith Gay, and Jennifer Selendy. Elsberg is known for his work as a leading commercial litigator and trial lawyer across practice areas, but especially in financial litigation, including major bankruptcy cases. Gay heads the firm’s corporate defense and investigations practice, and in addition to securing significant victories for commercial clients, takes on challenging public interest and pro bono work. Selendy is awarded for her commercial and pro bono achievements, including her recent victories in precedent-setting cases for lender groups excluded from liability management transactions in TriMark, TPC, and Mitel.
Philippe Selendy was recognized as both a Litigation Star and Top 100 Trial Lawyer and is widely applauded for his record of success. Earlier this year, Selendy led the team that secured a top-to-bottom liability win in a breach of contract action on behalf of Cerberus Capital Management against Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, one of Canada’s largest banks.
Benchmark Litigation named Joshua Margolin a Future Star, noted for his corporate defense and investigations work and success in trial and appellate courts.
