Michelle Foxman is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience creatively resolving high stakes contract disputes, with a focus on matrimonial conflicts.
In the matrimonial field, Michelle advises high net worth individuals in all areas of divorce conflict, including prenuptial agreements, asset division and child custody. Michelle also has a pro bono practice representing victims of domestic abuse seeking divorce.
Michelle’s commercial litigation experience includes representation of commercial real estate clients in breach of contract disputes, as well as an investment fund in connection with breach of contract and fraud claims.
Michelle’s advice to her clients is informed by her prior experience as a deal attorney, drafting and negotiating all types of intellectual property contracts, including licensing, consent and co-existence agreements, for major companies in the luxury goods market and the music and entertainment fields.
Michelle earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from New York University School of Law, where she was elected to Order of the Coif and was an editor of the Journal of International Law & Politics.
